Aluminium foil for Industry Use

One of the most important fields of application of aluminum foil is insulation. It is used for example as a heat-insulating layer for the insulation of pipes and ducts. The rise of aluminum foil in the packaging industry began as early as the beginning of the 20th century. As early as 1910, it was possible to produce up to 10 μ (1/100 mm) thick aluminum foils and laminate them with paper. Technological improvements have led to a rapid development from the use of aluminum as chocolate packaging to the manufacture of aluminum beverage cans, coffee capsules, grill trays and bottle caps.
